Plan overview
WeblyChat has four plans: Free, Essential, Pro, and Premium. All plans include website URL training, widget embedding, multi-language support, and conversation analytics. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually (25% off annual).
- Free — $0/mo. 1 chatbot, 20–30 messages/month, default widget styling, no contact form.
- Essential — $19.99/mo ($179/yr). 3 chatbots, 1,500 messages/month, advanced customization, contact form, priority support.
- Pro — $39.99/mo ($359/yr). 5 chatbots, 6,000 messages/month, weekly auto-crawl.
- Premium — $78.99/mo ($699/yr). 10 chatbots, 20,000 messages/month, daily auto-crawl, removes "Powered by WeblyChat" badge.
Messages
A message is one AI response sent to a visitor. Each time the chatbot replies to a visitor's question, that counts as one message. The counter resets at the start of each billing cycle.
If you reach your monthly limit, the chatbot stops responding until the next cycle. You can upgrade at any time to restore access immediately.
Knowledge base size
The knowledge base is how much content your chatbot can hold. When you train on a website URL, WeblyChat crawls and indexes the pages into the knowledge base up to the plan's storage limit.
- Free (0.5 MB): Suitable for small sites, roughly 250 pages of content
- Essential (2 MB): Suitable for most small business websites, roughly 1,000 pages
- Pro (10 MB): Suitable for larger sites or businesses with extensive documentation, roughly 5,000 pages
- Premium (25 MB): Suitable for large sites or multiple content sources, roughly 12,500 pages
File uploads and custom Q&As also count toward the knowledge base limit.
Auto-crawl
Auto-crawl keeps your chatbot's knowledge current as your website changes. When a page is updated, added, or removed, the next crawl picks up those changes automatically.
- Free: No auto-crawl. You must trigger a manual re-crawl from your dashboard whenever your site changes.
- Essential: Crawls once per month automatically, plus manual crawl on demand.
- Pro: Crawls once per week automatically, plus manual crawl on demand.
- Premium: Crawls once per day automatically, plus manual crawl on demand.
All plans can trigger a manual re-crawl at any time from the Dashboard.
Widget customization
Free plan users get the default widget styling. Colors, fonts, and layout are fixed.
Essential, Pro, and Premium users get the full Advanced Builder with control over:
- Header title, icon, text color, background color, and opacity
- Widget background color, corner radius, and size
- Chat bubble colors for both AI and visitor messages
- Primary accent color and font style
- Widget position (left or right)
- Message input placeholder text
- Intro messages and suggested prompts
- Contact form email address
Email contact form
The built-in contact form (the mail icon inside the widget) lets visitors send a message directly to your inbox without leaving the chat. This is available on Essential, Pro, and Premium plans only.
Free plan users do not have access to the contact form. The mail icon will not appear in the widget on the Free plan.
You can configure the contact form to send messages to any email address from the Builder page in your dashboard.
Chatbot deployments
Each chatbot is a separate instance with its own training data, widget settings, and embed code. You can deploy each chatbot on a different website or use multiple chatbots on the same site for different purposes.
- Free: 1 chatbot
- Essential: Up to 3 chatbots
- Pro: Up to 5 chatbots
- Premium: Up to 10 chatbots
Billing & cancellation
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Annual billing is 25% cheaper.
- You can cancel at any time. No contracts, no cancellation fees.
- If you cancel a paid plan, your account downgrades to Free at the end of the current billing period. Your chatbot, training data, and settings are preserved.
- Upgrading takes effect immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the billing period.
Frequently asked questions
No. The Free plan is permanent and does not require a credit card. It has real limits (20–30 messages/month, 1 chatbot, no contact form) but it does not expire.
Your chatbot stops responding to new visitor messages until the next billing cycle resets your count. You can upgrade at any time to restore access immediately.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Billing section in your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
No. All your chatbot training and widget settings carry over when you change plans.
